Lil’Bit is the sweetest and gentlest 10-year-old Pit Bull and weighs 40 lbs. Everyone who meets her falls in love right away! She has lived with her current family for the last 9 years after she was rescued and has welcomed two human babies in their family during this time. She is amazing with babies and kids alike and has never tried to bite through the many times the kids play with her. She’s house-trained, well-mannered, and loves people and other dogs. I believe Lil’Bit would do best with an owner who is home a lot or a family with kids or another dog. She loves to cuddle, go on walks, and relaxes in her bed most of the day. She’s in great health and up to date on all her shots. Her owners have to rehome her because the youngest child has severe allergies to dog hair.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at [email protected] requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
