About

This tiny precious Yorkie Poo, Sugar Baby, was surrendered by her owner for euthanasia after her owner was kicked out of their house. She was in horrible condition with long, stringy hair and was very dirty. Now that she’s cleaned up, we can see what a cutie she is. She’s about 8-10 years old and weighs 7.5 pounds. Every day Sugar Baby opens up more and makes herself at home. She gets along great with all the large and small dogs in her foster home. Sugar Baby is very smart. She learned to use the doggie door just by watching the other dogs. She runs to get in her crate at night for a nighttime treat and sleeps quietly all night. One of the cutest things she does is chase squirrels on our walks. She’s such a sweetheart and loves to lay in laps. Is Sugar Baby the dog for you? She will need regular grooming and she would prefer that her person is home more than not. Due to her age and small size, we don’t recommend Sugar Baby to families with children under 10.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at [email protected] requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
